In addition to our international relief work, BHALO proudly organizes year-round food drives and an annual Ramadan Grocery
Drive in Queens, New York, supporting families facing food insecurity and financial hardship. Each year, we provide essential groceries to over 700 families, distributing over 50 staple food items including rice, lentils, dates, cooking oil, flour, sugar, and other necessities that help families observe Ramadan and maintain stability throughout the year. These efforts bring together volunteers, community leaders, and donors from across New York City, reflecting BHALO’s deep roots in compassion and service. Our food drives not only provide nourishment but also strengthen community connections, ensuring that no family goes hungry and every household is supported with dignity and care.
